摘要
A new cubic double perovskite oxide, LaSrMnCoO5+delta(LSMC), was investigated as a novel cathode for intermediate-temperature solid oxide fuel cells (IT-SOFC). The electrical conductivity of an LSMC sample reaches 111-140 S cm(-1) in the temperature range 600-850 degrees C. XRD results show that an LSMC cathode is chemically compatible with IT electrolyte material Sm0.2Ce0.8O1.9 (SDC). The interfacial polarization resistance was as low as 0.048, 0.098 and 0.219 Omega cm(2) at 800, 750, and 700 degrees C, respectively. The preliminary results suggested that double perovskite LSMC material could be considered as the candidate for IT-SOFC cathode. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
