摘要
The optical performance of a display was found to be strongly dependent on the array designs and driving methods. The storage-capacitor-on-gate (SCOG) design commonly used in TFT-LCDs showed significant different characteristics from a display using the storage-capacitor-on-common (SCOC) design. The difference could be qualitatively explained by a voltage spike effect due to the capacitive coupling in the SCOG design. In this paper, the details of the simple model in correlation with the optical measurement results will be reported on.
