Sense and limits of treatment

Every treatment should be critically evaluated in every state of his application. The person who is treated should become independent of the therapist as soon as possible. This independance and self responsibility of the individual is more important, than the unlikely elimination of a residual minor deficit. Help your patient actively to abandon a treatment not longer necessary, Accept the limits of feasability also in the field of treatment. Never offer or prescribe a treatment out of a personal economic interest and never do so to satisfy your psycological need as a helper.
