摘要
Along with increasing population, the required agricultural outputs and used resources are largely increased, with increasing speed exceeding the growing speed of population, to interfere in the agricultural production system. The pursuit of large amount of production could enhance the productivity of agricultural system in short period, while the long-term environmental disruption would have humans pay more costs for re-improving and regulating the environmental loss. The sustainable development of agricultural resources is therefore emphasised to have agricultural production take care of environment, society, and economy. Taking Yunlin County in Taiwan as the research object, Delphi method and Data Envelopment Analysis are utilised for this study. The public data of annual statistical reports in various areas are used as the data for selecting input/output performance indicators, which arc preceded empirical analyses for the reference of improvement. Research results show: (i) merely 1 unit presents strong-form efficiency, revealing that most townships have to make efforts to the performance on either effectiveness orientation positioning or traditional production business, and (ii) townships appear growing total factor productivity change, revealing growing overall productivity of townships in the two years. According to the results to propose suggestions, it is expected to help the management model of domestic agriculture take care of economic development and environmental benefits.
