An investigation was carried out in the experimental farm, Department of Horticulture, C.S.S.S. (P.G.) College, Machhra, Meerut (U.P.) to study the effect of 1AA, GA(3) and NAA each at 100 and 200 ppm concentration on growth and flowering of zinnia during the year 2005. Vegetative characters like plant height, number of leaves per plant, number of branches per plant length of leaf and width of leaf showed best performance in plots treated with 200 ppm GA(3). However, flowering parameters such as days to bud initiation, number of flowers per plant, flower diameter, fresh weight of flower and duration of flowering showed best performance in plots treated with 200 ppm IAA.
