摘要
The nanostructure of a pearlitic steel processed by high pressure torsion was investigated using Field Ion Microscopy and the 3D Atom Probe technique. The dissolution of cementite was pointed out and the data show that carbon atoms are located in dislocation arrays along the former ferrite/cementite interfaces. Moreover, 3D Atom Probe analysis revealed a significant redistribution of allowing elements (Si, Cr and Mn) which suggest a strong increase of the vacancy density during the severe plastic deformation.
