摘要
We measured the absorption coefficients and extinction ratio of ferroelectric lead germanate in the range of 0.2 - 1.2 THz by means of terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. We observed dramatic changes in the dichroism of the crystal induced by temperature shifts between 300 K and 493 K. We estimated the extinction ratio of lead germanate crystal-based wideband terahertz polarizers to be better than 1: 10(5). (C) 2017 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
