摘要
The effect of;tn acidic stage implementation in conventional ECF bleaching sequences (DEDED and ODEDED) of Eucalyptus globulus kraft pulp on the bleachability and strength properties has been investigated. A reduction of 2-3 kappa units achieved in the acid pre-treatment stage resulted in 10-25 % chlorine dioxide savings without substantial losses in the yield (less than 5 %) and basic strength characteristics of fully bleached pulps. The acid pre-treatment showed negative influence on the pulp bleachability with ClO(2) which was explained partially by changes in the residual lignin structure under acidic conditions.
