The following analogue of Tverberg's partition theorem in R-3 is proved (among others): Every set of [(18)/(7)m] points in R-3 can be divided into m subsets such that the smallest axis-parallel boxes containing the subsets have a common point. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
