摘要
DNA fingerprinting provides a useful tool for rapid and efficient identification/differentiation of bacterial strains. The fingerprint analysis of two growth promotory fluorescent pseudomonas for their environmental monitoring is reported. Genomic DNA of the strains PRS9 and GRP(3) has been isolated and subjected to RFLP analysis. Based on the size and number of fragments, Bgl II is found better in comparison to EcoRI, XbaI and Hind III. The BgI Il analysis of purified soil DNA of the strain GRP(3) and PRS9 is described. It is revealed that RFLP patterns of both these strains are distinguishable from each other as well from unsterile uninoculated control soil DNA. On the other hand DNA sample from combination trial of strains exhibit altogether different patterns.
