摘要：
Presented are data on world-production in 1996, production evaluation for 1997, oil reserves for beginning of 1997 and 1998. Distribution of reserves and production for geographical zones is shown. Results of different enhanced oil recovery methods' application are reviewed. Basic points of world strategy and tactics on oil industry development are noted.
