摘要
The voltammetric behaviour of triclosan on a mercury surface was studied. It was observed that triclosan was adsorbed at the mercury electrode surface at potential of -450 mV and desorbed at more negative potentials. The adsorption/desorption potential is dependent on experimental conditions, especially the pH. A pKa value of 8.0 +/- 0.2 was obtained from desorption potential changes. Different electroanalytical methods were applied to study the behaviour of triclosan on mercury. The adsorption characteristics obeyed the Frumkin isotherm and the adsorption coefficient was 2.16-0.739 x 10(6). The value of the interaction factor was positive, indicating that interactions between the adsorbed species on the electrode surface were attractive.
