摘要
Details of the multi-species, biologically-reactive transport code, RT3D (Reactive Transport in 3-Dimensions), capable of predicting bioreactive transport in three-dimensional, saturated groundwater are presented. The presented numerical model is a useful tool for analyzing the fate and transport of different types of contaminant plumes under natural attenuation conditions. The model predictions can be used for designing monitoring network and/or for forecasting contaminant exposure levels and environmental risks at sensitive, down-gradient receptors.
