摘要
Emergency information is an important element and resource during the process of emergency response, and emergency information management is very important to the emergency management. To ease the crisis and reduce its damage, it should be ensured that decision-makers can make decisions correctly and commands scientifically by accurately-knowledge, wisely-use and effectively-sharing of emergency information. First of all, this paper analyzed some problems in emergency information management at present of China, and then, introduced the foreign status of emergency information management, as well as Emergency Data Exchange Language (EDXL), which is playing an important role in emergency information management and getting improved and developed. After that, structure, functions and applications of EDXL with two examples were analyzed, and finally, some issues needing attention and some proposed solutions in constructing emergency management information system were mentioned.
