摘要
Accelerating the construction of residential system and developing energy efficiency building in northwestern rural is a significant action to realize overall comparatively good living standard. There are three main problems concerning current construction material in rural areas in northwestern China. Above all, the current construction material are mainly clay brick and not environmentally friendly. Secondly, the current housing stock in rural areas is not energy efficient. At last, the current housing in rural china is unsafe during earthquakes. Therefore we must find a material suited for rural in northwestern China to replace brick as soon as possible. Straw bale construction is famous as its energy efficiency and popularizing in America, Canada, France, Australia, England, and Mongolia and so on. But in china, it is a new experiment technology. Straw bale is superior in resource efficient, affordability, energy efficiency, comfortable, environmental protection, using of local un-skilled labor and durable. Especially, Straw bale is much superior to brick in energy consumption including production consumption, raw material consumption, transport consumption, construction consumption an d using consumption. According to calculating, compared of the same volume of 10 billion pieces of bricks, straw bale may save 16763450 tons coal, save 2625 hectares land, save 19747800 tons clay, reduce 33514500 tons carbon dioxide and reduce 61.3125 tons smoke and dust. Peasant lived in rural in northwestern china is poor; the rural in northwest is the focal point in constructing new socialism rural and saving social. Introducing it into northwestern rural and popularizing it has the considerable significance. There are several beneficial conditions in northwest which is the climate of the northwest is suit for straw bale building, the raw material is plentiful and introduce straw bale construction could help the poor. Do our best to develop energy efficiency in rural and promote construction system of comparatively good living standard in northwest is an economic and reasonable project. We should mobilize the socialism effort to accelerate the introduction of straw. There are some suggestions that the government must intervene, improving the people's awareness of energy efficiency and environmental protection, increasing fund putting into energy saving and take advantage of it effectively. Only in this way, can we development energy efficiency building in rural areas in northwestern China, promote live situation, construct new socialism rural and realize comparatively good living standard.
