摘要：
Nodal status is the most important predictor in patients with solid cancer. In general, sentinel lymph node is the gateway to regional nodal metastasis and beyond. Biomarkers and gene profiles are being developed to stage and subgroup cancer patients more accurately for more effective personalized therapy. J. Surg. Oncol. 2011;103:639-641.
