Reorientation of the W′ domain walls in ferroelastic silver niobate crystal

Using a polarizing microscope the temperature dependence of orientation of W'-type domain walls in a ferroelastic AgNbO3 crystal was determined. Results obtained are discussed within the framework of the Sapriel theory in relation to temperature dependence of lattice unit cell parameters.
