摘要
The article is based on the geological engineering mapping of Sauliai area carried out at scale 1:50000 in 1994-1997. The engineering geological condition investigations were performed at depth from 10 to 15 meters. The area engineering geological map at scale 1:50 000 was compiled and general engineering geological conditions is displayed. The engineering geological soil groups (biogenic, coarse, mixed and fine), geological processes (bogging up, lake, river and other water reservoirs banks abrasion, riverside erosion, etc.), groundwater level depth and its aggressiveness to concrete with the normal permeability) were established according to their physical and mechanical properties and presented on the map. The eight engineering geological regions were established according to the various ages of deposits, their composition and engineering geological soil groups distribution at the active buildings influence zone. The geological processes and phenomena were taken into account as well. The established in the area regions are different in building conditions.
