摘要
Autogenous volume deformation has a significant impact on concrete's crack resistance. Concrete can be divided into two kinds by its autogenous volume deformation: expansion concrete and shrinkage concrete. The influence of autogenous volume deformation on thermal stress of a high arch dam is studied based on the simulation of temperature field in this paper Results show that early expansion concrete and early shrinkage concrete have remarkable influence on arch dam's early thermal stress, but have little influence on the dam center's maximum thermal stress; dam center's maximum thermal stress and final residual thermal stress will decrease when the expansion period becomes longer, which is beneficial to the crack resistance of concrete. Conclusions in this paper are valuable for dam concrete construction and anti-cracking.
