摘要
A method for calibrating a photodiode intended for high-intensity radiation pulse detection using continuous lighting lamps is described. The method is based on the use of an attachable integrated circuit with a known time constant. Based on the volt sensitivity and the time constant obtained during calibration against a continuous lighting lamp, relationships of the power and radiation energy with the photodetector response are mathematically derived. The method has been tested using a xenon flash lamp with pulse duration at half maximum of approximate to 60 mu s.
