摘要：

In this paper, we used patent duration to analysis patent quality, those patents were granted by the SIPO. The relevant data (as of 2004 to 2007) of more than 40000 domestic and international invention patents, are comparatively analyzed, and fund that the maintenance rate, the maintenance time, the average number of claims, the average number of inventor and the time needing from application to granted of foreign invention patents are significantly more than domestic invention patents, and foreign invention patents mainly concentrated on high tech fields, while domestic invention patents mainly concentrated on the traditional technical fields.
