摘要
The feasibility of measuring the droplet size distribution in an emulsion by the buoyancy weighing-bar method was investigated. A W/O emulsion was prepared using n-dodecane as the continuous phase and ion-exchanged water as the dispersed phase. The water droplet size distribution measured by the buoyancy weighing-bar method agreed with that measured by the microscopy method. Thus, the buoyancy weighing-bar method is applicable to measurement of droplet size distribution in a W/O emulsion.
