摘要:
Culture impacts neuropsychological test performance. This has been shown to be the case for Maori, the Indigenous people of New Zealand. The current study presents normative data that reflects a normative level of performance for a Maori population on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (4th edition; WAIS-IV). Participants were 284 neurologically healthy adults who self-identified as Maori, stratified across gender and seven age ranges, were recruited from seven different areas of the North and South Islands of New Zealand and were representative of the main Maori iwi/tribes. They were administered the WAIS-IV according to standard criteria. Normative data are presented across subtests for each of the seven age ranges. Normative data are not presented by gender as an ANVOA indicates few significant differences by gender.
