Research on construction project quality supervisionx system based on building lifecycle management

Construction project quality supervision (CPQS) is one of the significant duties of Chinese government which ensures the building quality and safety for the public. In order to resolve the problem that traditional CPQS focuses on construction period without considering designing and operating period and improve the supervision level, the concept of the Building Lifecycle Management (BLM) is introduced. The BLM has been put forward to improve the efficiency of CPQS. The main purpose of CPQS based on BLM is to implement integrated management of construction project quality information from the perspective of government, and then to comprehensively manage, control, and ensure the safety of construction quality. This article investigates the content and aim of CPQS, and analyzes and designs the system of CPQS based on BLM theory as well as the application of the system.
