A multifunctional and ultra-modern office building has been built on the premises of SEH Engineering GmbH in Hanover, which impressively demonstrates the almost infinite possibilities of using the material steel. The challenge for the building was brief and to the point: to create a space for a climate of openness, where inspired thinking, enthusiasm and a focus on the task at hand - free of patterns - are encouraged. A building with a clear formal language, whose design clearly stands out from the usual office standard. You can literally feel it, from the outside as well as from the inside steel is our favourite material to work with. The visible steel structure on the inside creates a loft character. The cube-like structure has clear building edges and the building envelope can also be combined very well with wood. Large, floor-to-ceiling glazing creates a friendly and open atmosphere with sufficient daylight. Venetian blinds, which disappear behind the facade when needed, provide effective glare and sun protection. Resting on just eight round steel columns, the building has a floating character, the space below can be used for parking or other purposes. The building is approx. 30 m long, the width in the standard area is approx. 9 m and its height is 10.70 m. Instead of individual offices, the Space Cube offers offices in which specialised teams can work together. Open space structure, relaxed working atmosphere and equipped with the latest technology.
