Effect of BaTi4O9 on the sintering and microwave dielectric characteristics of Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3 ceramics

摘要
Ba(Zn1/3Ta2/3)O3 (BZT) powder calcined at 1200°C for 3 h was used as the precursor and 0.1 mol BaTi4O 9 was used to improve the sintering characteristics of BZT ceramics. BZT ceramics and BaTi4O9 were synthesized by solid state reaction using reagent-grade purity precursors of BaCO3, ZnO, Ta 2O5 and TiO2. The crystal structure of calcined powders was examined by using an X-ray powder diffractometer. The results show that the addition of 0.1 mol BaTi4O9 into the BZT ceramics composition will improve the sinterability of BZT ceramics.
