摘要
Numerical modelling of ultrasonic transducers pressure field plays an important role in setting safety precautions for both diagnostic and therapeutic ultrasound applications. As the commonly applied intensities grow there is a concern that linear assumptions in ultrasound propagation modelling are not sufficient and non-linear effects have to be taken into account. Presented paper deals with a numerical model implementation allowing to simulate both linear and nonlinear ultrasound propagation in physical media. Simulation results of linear and non-linear models are compared for a set of initial acoustic pressure amplitudes.
