摘要：
Professor Feinman's treatise accomplishes the ambitious task of constituting a new field of ''economic negligence'' using elements of contract and tort as building blocks. His book explains the expanding common law liability of professionals and businesses for economic harm to parties with whom they have no contract. He advocates a ''relational'' approach to definition of obligations, urging courts to pay careful attention to context, particularly networks of relations.
