摘要
Behaviors of tsunami running up on apron and container drifted by tsunami have been investigated. The impact loads of drifted container have been also measured. When the run-up wave is not so large, velocity of drifted container is proportional to the traveling velocity of run-up wave on apron. However, it seems to approach a constant value when run-up wave becomes large. It is also confirmed that the impulsive force due to drifted container does not depend on its weight, but it depends on the size of container. Added mass of the drifted container may become an important factor on the impulsive force due to collision of container.
