Since the NCI announced the principal recommendations, the place of radiochemiotherapy in the treatment of ca cervix. The combination of radiotheraphy with hydroxyurea, or RT with Cisplatin and 5-Fluorouracil in treatments. Concominant radiochemotherapy based on cisplatin at one or in combination with 5fu can be considered standard treatment for stages IB, IIA, proximal IIB; with bad prognostic factors (t > 4cm invasion of pelvic nodes, microscopic invasion of the parametrium) and without lumboaortic invasion.
