摘要
A new solar chimney power system with integration of sea water desalination has been introduced for the production of electricity and fresh water in this paper. Two mathematical models have been developed individually for a one-dimensional flow in solo solar chimney power system and this system. Through theoretical analysis, it has been demonstrated the integrated system can significantly improve the solar energy utilization efficiency as well as the land resources utilization efficiency, at the same time, the economic, social and ecological benefits can also be significant. The integrated system suits to be developed in Northwest China very much. (C) 2011 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
