摘要
Incidence of congenital heart disease (CHD) has been shown to be hereditary.:To clarify the relationship between polymorphism of methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677T and congenital heart disease, this study selected 1,500 children with simple congenital heart disease treated in 10 hospitals from January 2012 to June 2015 as study group and 1500 healthy children who received physical examinations in hospital in the same period as reference group. To ensure accuracy of the results, there was no significant statistical difference in distribution of basic information of the selected 3,000 children. For the polymerase chain reaction the restriction fragment length polymorphism method was adopted to detect MTHFR C677T, A1298C, G1793A genotype and the corresponding distribution of the two groups of children. The result is a significant association between methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase gene C677T polymorphism in the mother's body and incidence risk of children with congenital heart disease. Hence, C677T represents one of the, main factors causing congenital heart disease.
