An investigation into agile development methodologies in use by small, medium and micro enterprises in South Africa

This paper seeks to share with conference participants, the findings of a recently completed study. The study sought to investigate the agile development methodologies being used by small, medium and micro enterprises in South Africa and also to explore the type of computing services in use. The paper therefore begins by presenting the background upon which the study investigated factors influencing agile development adoption and use in South Africa. A quantitative methodology was followed through administering of an on-line questionnaire to carefully selected respondents.
