摘要
A series of tests on bugle-flat specimens with 1similar to2 mm thickness are carried out to investigate the LCF (Low Cycle Fatigue) behavior of Zircaloy-4 at room and 400degreesC elevated temperature. M-C (Manson-Coffin) life estimation models and R-O (Ramberg-Osgood) monotonic constitutive models at room and 400degreesC are given, respectively. A systematical investigation on the influences of the elevated temperature on cyclic properties of Zircaloy-4 is performed by three temperature factors defined in this paper. Based on the assumption of a linearity relationship between the temperature factor of life and strain amplitude, a simplified M-C model for predicting the fatigue life of Zircaloy-4 at elevated temperature is presented. In addition, microcosmic features of fatigue fracture surfaces of Zircaloy-4 specimens are discussed.
