Optimum Design of Switched Reluctance Motor Based on Direct Instantaneous Torque Control

摘要
This paper proposes a new optimum design method of switched reluctance motors (SRM) based on direct instantaneous torque control (DITC) algorithm. The total copper losses minimization of the motor has been investigated through adjusting of the stator pole arc and rotor pole arc in order to improve the efficiency of the motor. Meanwhile, the torque ripple can be limited within a range because of the use of DITC control method. This optimal method is processed combining the FET and MATLAB simulation. The simulation comparisons are also presented on a 12/8 switched reluctance motor to validate the proposed control scheme.
