摘要
Issues relating to urban water system management in the world characterized by rapid and growing changes in the society, environment and technologies, are presented in the paper. Current changes on the global level and their influence on the operation and development of urban water systems are studied. The need to change current approach in order to solve water system management problems is analyzed. The necessity to educate professionals in accordance with new frameworks for urban water system planning and management is considered, and appropriate guidelines are given.
