A wide-range operation intelligent coordinated control system for a fossil-fuel power unit

摘要
The fossil-fuel power unit (FFPU) is a MIMO system with the characteristics of nonlinear dynamics and stronger coupling, and it is a complex process with multiple changing operating conditions. In response to these circumstances, this paper contributes a methodology to design a wide-range operation intelligent unit control system for a fossil fuel power unit (FFPU). First, the coordinated control strategy constitutes the uppermost control level in the FFPU, and it is regarded as a single entity to drive the boiler-turbine-generator set. Second, an Intelligent Coordinated Control System (ICCS) for a wide-range operation is proposed. The ICCS implements a two-level hierarchical intelligent hybrid coordinated control system. The direct level consists of multiloop fuzzy control and fuzzy decoupling control scheme. The supervisory level realizes the main function of wide-range operation. Three modules form the implementation core of the system: fuzzy logic controllers for multi-loop control, fuzzy decoupling controllers, and multi-mode control governor. Finally, the good performance of the ICCS is demonstrated through numerical experiments.
