摘要
For many if not most prehospital medical interventions proof of evidence is missing. Accordingly, curricula and skills of emergency medical personnel are difficult to define. In Switzerland, paramedics achieve knowledge and skills within all basic life-support skills. In addition, they can receive certain delegated advanced medical competencies. Prehospital emergency physicians have to be experienced clinical individuals, working within a structured and defined curriculum. Their decision making and team leading capacity facilitates ethical problem solving.
