摘要
Work on the development of the design, process for cargo ships has been going on at KTH for a number of years. In the present paper results from two different studies within this work are presented. In the first study methodologies to implement the cargo owner's perspective into the design process is given. together with the consequences of this approach on the ship speed on, different routes. In the second study a method to include the ship performance in waves into the preliminary design process is presented.
