摘要
An overview of the formation and reactivity of non-heme iron oxygen intermediates is given. The binding of dioxygen to the non-heme biocomplexes bleomycin and hemerythrin and to iron enzymes is covered. Furthermore, model complexes of non-heme mononuclear and dinuclear iron complexes and their interaction with dioxygen, superoxide, and hydrogen peroxide are also considered.
