A facile and novel synthetic route to Al@MoO3 energetic films

摘要
In this work, Al@MoO3 energetic films have been successfully synthesized by the combination of hydrolysis and electrophoretic deposition (EPD). The films were carefully characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD),transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). The released energy and combustion performance of the composite were compared by using differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and a high-speed camera. Results showed that MoO3 was firmly coated on the surface of Al nanospheres, which mainly improved the interfacial contact area. The exothermic performance was mainly dependent on the concentration of NH4F and reached the maximum heat release of 2840.2 J/g when the concentration of NH4F was 0.10 mol/L. This method is highly useful for increasing the contact area, reducing impurities, tailoring dimensions of energetic films and easily integrating it into the reactive bridge.
