摘要
Owing to the high abundance low cost of sodium compared to lithium, sodium-ion batteries have recently attracted a renewed interest as possible candidates for stationary and mobile energy storage devices. Herein, novel Na-x[Ni0.6Co0.2Mn0.2]O-2 (x = 0.6, 0.7, 0.8, 0.9, and 1.0) layered cathode materials were synthesized by the hydroxide co-precipitation method. The effects of different sodium contents on the structural and electrochemical properties of this cathode material were studied. The cathode materials were calcined at 900 degrees C for 24 h, and Na-0.6[Ni0.6Co0.2Mn0.2]O-2 electrode exhibited a good coulombic efficiency of 80.68% and cycling retention of 68.65% after 20 cycles. Characterization of this material will help to developing cathode materials for sodium ion battery.
