摘要
According to studies conducted by the IEA, building energy consumption accounts for approximately 40% of the total energy consumption worldwide. With fossil fuel sources being the primary means of electricity generation in many countries, states and provinces worldwide. This has brought about the need for designing buildings which consume less power as well as the integration of renewable energy sources [R.E.S.]. Both methods aim to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases as a result of building energy consumption. This paper explores the implementation of solar control system to be implements for solar windows onto a condo building in Toronto Ontario.
