The hydrodistilled essential oil from the dried fruits of Ferula flabelliloba was analyzed by GC-MS. Forty-four components, representing 87.2 % of the oil, were characterized. The major components were 10-epi-gamma-eudesmol (14.1 %), beta-dihydroagrofuran (13.3 %), alpha-bisabolol (9.9 %), guaiol acetate (4.3 %), hinesol (3.6 %), germacrene D (3.2 %), fenchyl acetate (3.0 %) and beta-acorenol (3.0 %).
