We prove that generic Z(2)-actions (f, g) on the interval [0, 1] have the property that both f and g have the periodic shadowing and strong tolerance stability properties, as well as their chain recurrent sets are the Cantor sets (Theorem 1). (c) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
