摘要
Studies in brain development show that stimulation of the brain's auditory centers is critically important, and sensory stimulation influences the organization of the brain's auditory pathways. Anything that can be done to program the brain's critical and powerful auditory centers with acoustic detail expands children's opportunities. This article describes the rationale for and the routine use of individual and sound-field FM technology, which cart enhance acoustic accessibility in home and school environments, for children with all degrees of hearing loss.
