摘要
This paper focuses on the implementation of a numerical model for the simulation of absorption processes with the action of a surfactant. The model carries out the resolution of Navier-Stokes equations in two dimensions making use of the volume of fluid (VOF) technique for the resolution of free surfaces. The surface tension forces are modelled by means of unit volume forces according to the continuum surface model (CSF). Several application samples are showed, and falling film absorption processes in aqueous solutions of LiBr are studied as a situation of industrial interest. The results are compared with experimental data from the literature.
