摘要
In today's knowledge economy. the knowledge of individuals is seen as a source of sustainable competitive advantage amongst organisations. Organisations arc beginning to realise the benefits of investing in human intellectual capital, and have started using knowledge management. which capitalises on the unused ideas and practices in an organisation. Without knowledge management. companies are not able to probe the knowledge assets in their organisations. However, the majority of this knowledge is often tacit and exists in informal networks within the organisation. Organisations need to utilise Personal Knowledge Networks as in effective knowledge management tool. in order to manage these informal individual knowledge networks to improve knowledge creation, and sharing. This paper proposes a model to enhance the human intellectual capital in organisations through the use of personal knowledge networks. The model incorporates the various methods, processes and activities required to identify. analyse and manage Personal Knowledge Networks.
