Everyone wants to feel safe in his or her workplace, and Federal law mandates that employers provide a safe work environment. Veterinary staff need to feel comfortable at work to be able to do their jobs efficiently. Personal safety boosts morale and promotes smooth daily operation of the practice. It also lowers the risk of civil liability to employers.
