摘要
In the November 2001 issue of Developmental Cell, Vogel et al. describe that the budding yeast γ-tubulin, Tub4p, is phosphorylated at a conserved tyrosine in G1 phase of the cell cycle. The results suggest that γ-tubulin phosphorylation regulates the number and dynamics of microtubules.
